About Mississippi Final Conditional Lien Waiver Form
This ms final conditional waiver (also called a final conditional lien release but not to be confused with a lien cancellation) should be used when the final payment for a project is expected but has yet to be received on a project in the state of ms. Signing this waiver signifies that no further payments are expected following the payment described in the waiver. You can think of lien waivers as the construction industry’s version of a receipt for payment.
This ms lien waiver form is “conditional” on the receipt of the payment and will be invalid if payment is not received. Because of this condition, it’s ok to use if payment has not yet been received.
ms is one of 12 states that has a statutory requirement for specific language to be included in the lien waiver.
