Clark County Stadium Authority

WHEREAS, the Clark County Stadium Authority (“Authority”) is a newly authorized political

subdivision of the County and a separate governmental entity enacted pursuant to Senate Bill 1 of the 30th

Special Session of the Nevada State Legislature and is governed by an appointed body statutorily

designated as the Stadium Authority Board (“Board”), and

WHEREAS, since its inception, the Authority has been known as the Las Vegas Stadium Authority and its

governing body as the Las Vegas Stadium Authority Board; and

WHEREAS, the name in common usage reflects familiarity with the mission of the Authority to facilitate

the development of a National Football League team that will be affiliated with the name “Las Vegas”; and

WHEREAS, continued usage of the common name in the public arena will best represent the mission and objectives of the Authority;
