Iowa Notice by Subcontractor to Residential Owner Form

On residential projects, those who do not contract with the property owner should serve a Notice of Lien Rights upon the owner as soon as possible. While the notice can be served at anytime, it only preserves the party's right to lien against the funds not yet paid to the principal contractor. This deadline marks the end of the 30-day period after you first furnished labor and/or materials to this project, and a Notice of Lien Rights should be sent.
