I am having trouble collecting information on the owner to file our preliminary notice but our contract mentions a bond (I also have not been given information on the bond company) do I still need to file a preliminary notice? Hi, I'm trying to figure out what to list as when hired directly by the property owner instead of by a GC.
Previously on Levelset, we use to list as the General Contractor and be able to send the Notice of Right to lien. I was on yesterday and put in that we are the General Contractor, the only document available to send was NRS 108.246 Notice. Do lien waivers still hold value or are they null if the Preliminary Notice was not sent to the General Contractor? We filed a preliminary notice on August 10, 2020 without lender information.
If we add a lender information on preliminary notice now, we will need to send the revised notice to both parties, or just to the lender. We don’t want to lose our spot.

However, this project is at the same location and related (but with a separate T&M agreement) to four other projects that we have submitted a pre-lien and filed a lien against.
