Our contractor hired a subcontractor to do the electrical work on our home under construction. The contractor then sent me a bill for the work. I paid the contractor (I have the bill and the cancelled check) in full for the work. The contractor then only paid the subcontractor half of what was owed. Crowe Construction needs help in applying and receiving funding from or through the SBA I'm not sure if I am doing this correctly . I need to know the sure fire way to get the help we need . COVID -19 has been detrimental and really put us down . I know with the help of a loan or grant that we could get our company off ground level again . I have applied for the eidl loan ,however I am not sure I did it correctly due to the lack of response from SBA. And I did get the targeted eidl advance which helped tremendously . But not near enough to put us over that edge and kick start us on our way down the path without worries of any little hiccup ruining us again . Any help would be greatly appreciated. ...Read More
We purchase new vinyl siding and windows from a supplier whom also done their own installation as part of the purchase agreement, which also stated,
"Limited lifetime warranty on materials"
and "2 year Labor Warranty". As soon as the outside air temperature started changing from summer to winter we began to see places all over where the siding has started warping, buckling, and have other deformities leaving gaps where the panels overlap.
I called the company and reported the situation, which they agreed to have someone look at it.
On the day we scheduled an inspection they sent the same person whom installed the siding whom never notified us he was there to inspect, he simply walked around the house once and left. After a few days I called the store again when I was told they looked and cannot find any issues caused by the installation. After several weeks the company owner agreed to come inspect himself and has never shown up. Other local contractors have looked and each had said the same that the siding installed incorrectly by not allowing room for expansion and contraction. The manufacturer also give this same response. What must I do to get this problem fixed as it's allowing water to get behind the siding that's potentially could causing more serious damage as a result?

This was while the pandemic was gaining Steam , stay home orders and most people were put out of work. I was drawing(pua) Pandemic unemployment assistance but they suspended it. I was appealing tothe pua appeal board. There was no way topay it right now, I thought I could pay the taxes when my income-tax return came in . To this day I haven't seenit yet. Around the end of August I got my first check frompua. I whone the appeal thank god. Itried to pay the taxes and they said it was too late.
