When initiating a Stop Notice does 30 days cover the whole project or just my portion?

CaliforniaNotice of CompletionStop Notice

Please answer ASAP, I am losing time to initiate a Stop Notice. I need to know if the 30 days cover the completion of the whole project or just my portion of the project?

I am not certain what you mean by the "the 30 days" -- assuming you are a supplier or contractor and you are wondering how long you have to initiate the service of a stop payment notice, you generally have 90 days from project completion (not measured from your last day of work) unless a timely and proper notice of completion has been recorded. --CN

How long do I have to initiate a Notice of Completion?

When initiating a Notice of Completion do I use the date I completed my portion of the project or the date the whole project was finished?

To clarify, are you a contractor or a supplier? If so, you would generally not be "initiating" a notice of completion. Notices of completion are usually recorded by the project owner promptly after completion of the project as a whole.
