The next step is generally filing suit to enforce the lien, assuming that the lien is valid and there is still time to file suit. Otherwise, you may need to proceed with filing a suit for Breach of Contract. If you need assistance with filing suit, feel free to give us a call. 504-323-5885.

You will either file suit on the lien (their are short time periods within which you must do so under Alabama law) or file a suit for breach of contract/quantum meruit.
