Greetings. It appears you would like to file a mechanic's lien in New York on a New York project. There are many types of lien forms that one can find on the internet. It is best to have a professional lien service provider or an attorney draft and file the lien. That way, not only would one sufficiently protect the work they did on the project and the amounts owed, but one would not expose themselves to counterclaims, such as an exaggerated lien claim. Please contact one today so as not to avoid the missing of any deadlines. Good luck.

you may file a lien as a non resident if you merely deliver and are not conducting business in NY without being registered. you may use your SC address, but i recommend you retain NY counsel to ensure that you follow the correct procedure for a non resident supplier. you do not want to find yourself with an invalid lien and a claim for willful exaggeration.

What would it cost to have your firm file the lien?

the court costs are about 290 plus the time of the process server, all in about 400 to 500. the total is probably $900, we are in NYC, what county is involved in your case. If it is suburban or up state, it might be less costly to use someone more local

As a business owner, the first thing you need to do is take the time to learn everything possible about your new home state's laws, regulations, and businesses. Here you can visit SZRDDM custom vinyl figures for the best toys skills. You'll want to find out what is expected of your company in terms of employment permits, licensing and bonding requirements and any other very specific regulations you might need to meet.
