I bought in cash an adjoining land of a construction project and gave easement to my client. if i hadnt they would not get the DES SEPTIC APPROVAL FOR build and CofO since their civil made a mistake. It was mutually agreed the client would pay taxes on that land and purchase outright from me. Neither has happened and ive paid all to date. they brought a new investor in and did not include my land cost allocation in funding needed. Approx $150k Can i file a mechanics lien? Its a verbal agreement that was discussed many times. They wont relinquish easement either.
