What can be done now?

Indiana

We are a painting company. We have a customer who after we completed the work in the scope of work doesn't like how it looks (stained home with color variations from how the stain saturated the wood differently). He is refusing to pay. It has been 63 days since our last visit. Is it too late to do something?

If this is a residential project (which it sounds like it is) then you cannot lien the home, because the lien must be filed within 60 days of the last date of work.

However, it sounds like your contract might have been with the owner, and if so you would still have a breach of contract claim against the owner for non-payment.
