I hired a lawyer from here and she lost a file of mine, our second problem is that the filing has not been done on time from another case she handled for us and we got settled from that but lost a lot more.

You should retain a construction attorney to review your documents and to evaluate your situation, and to provide advice.
With so much electronic communication these days, you (or the attorney you retain) may be able to reconstitute the missing file, or to generate a new set of documents.
