I have a question about the lien process. If a supplier sells to a contractor and the contractor picks up the materials

OklahomaConstruction ContractPreliminary Notice

I have a question about the lien process. If a supplier sells to a contractor and the contractor picks up the materials and takes it to the job site (and the contractor does not pay for them) does the supplier have lien rights? Even though they did not furnish/deliver the materials directly to the job site and the contractor did a “willcall”

Yes, if a supplier furnished materials to a contractor, but the contractor did not pay for them, the supplier definitely has lien rights. You have 4 months from the date the materials were supplied to file a lien statement in order to perfect your lien. Then you have 1 year from that date to file a suit to foreclose on the lien. You also have an action for breach of contract or open account for the lack of payment.
