We are a small construction company in Vermont. We had walked off from a job with a large developer for conflict of interest. We are trying to receive payment that is due to our company, nothing more. The developer is counter offering a very low figure to have us "walk away". We know where the developer had obtained the loan for the large development project in question, we need the correct way to file a lien on the bond they have with the credit union. We just want to get our money.
