I have an expired lien on my property in the state of Florida. It expired 9 days ago. How do I remove it. I do not want to contact the party who liened the property
If the lien truly expired - i.e., the lien was recorded more than a year ago and no suit to foreclose the lien has been filed - then the lien is void by operation of law. There is no need to do anything. Any title company that pulls up the lien and sees that it is more than a year old will disregard it for title purposes.
