Glad to hear you got paid! In Arizona, like most other states, a mechanics lien release is filed with the county recorder much in the same way that a mechanics lien is. There are certain form requirements necessary as well, as set out by ARS § 11-480, but they aren't particularly tough restrictions to adhere to. zlien has a free form for an Arizona lien release available here.
