We are a concrete ready mix company. We have a contractor buying concrete for work requested by an HOA on behalf of a large residential community. We never have a specific address as this is typically for repair on street curbs, sidewalks or work in common areas. My question is what date id the last date on the project? Should I consider each order of concrete as a stand alone job and have notices go out in the manner?
In general terms, if it’s a global contract or project, it should be the last invoice for the project. But if you have concerns, why wait until then and risk it?
I advise clients to send the notices early to avoid worrying. Do not lose your lien rights.
