Does the delay of lien enforcement can be changed due to Coronavirus Force majeure?

CaliforniaCoronavirusMechanics Lien

My contractor has put a lien on my property. The lien must be enforced by April 7th. Does the delay can be changed due to the Coronavirus force majeure? Thanks in advance for your help.

There is nothing I have seen that changes any of the lien deadlines.

You can enter into a credit agreement with the contractor to extend the deadline to file a lawsuit to enforce the lien by up to one year. If the contractor is willing, this will avoid the need to enforce the lien by April 7.

Thank you for the answers. Treg, I do not want to enter into credit. I need the contractor to enforce the lien.

The lien deadlines remain the same. You can still file a lawsuit electronically with the courts to foreclose a lien. I just filed 2 such lawsuits in the last 2 weeks.
