Good morning --- you should consult with a construction attorney to determine whether your original lien for your "main bid and 1 change order" was recorded prematurely since you state that you have since done 6 more change orders. Your lawyer will want to evalute whether to record an amended/supplemental lien or possibly release the original lien and record a new lien for the value of your labor and materials in place -- assuming your work is now complete on the project.

Sorry, we have not filed a lien, I just meant ive sent the preliminary lien notice to document the contract amount abd that one change order. Should I send another preliminary notice for all 6 change orders other then the 1 already sent? They've paid for 3 of the change orders so now they owe me on 3 more change orders still

Hello! You shouldn't have to send a new preliminary notice just because you have performed additional change order work. Some practitioners will advise that when your change order work elevates your total contract value well above what you originally estimated in your preliminary notice, that you should serve an amended/supplemental preliminary notice.
