We did replace the siding in a commercial building. When we finished the job, they fired the manager (who presented himself as the owner of the business) and now the real owner (that is a common trust) don't want to pay because we don't have a written contract and change of orders. We did received a check as deposit and we have the building permit and hearings as we had to get a special permit to replace the siding. In one of the hearings is stated that the manager was representing the trust. We have sent many mails to the accountant with no response for payment. Can we file a mechanicals lien?
