The answer depends on what kind of work you performed. If you performed work on a public project, you probably won't be entitled to a lien on the property, but if you were the general contractor on a private project, there's a good chance you are entitled to a lien.
However, without more details, it would be difficult to tell you what procedures you need to follow in order to perfect your lien. Lien procedures are different for residential projects as opposed to commercial projects, so it is important that you speak to an attorney about your situation ASAP. As you may know, there are very strict deadlines that you must follow, or else you risk losing your right to a lien.
