Thanks for responding. I want to place a mechanic's lien against a realtor, for whom I staged a cottage in VT. It was back in April of 2020 and I filed a small claims court case against the company, but the cases in Hyde Park, VT are backed up, so I missed my 180 day window to file a lien. Can I still file the lien in VT against the property? FYI, recently they asked me if I wanted to settle out of court, but I said no. I would like to recoup the interest on the amount they owe me.
