I was a subcontractor on federal job and we havent been on the job site since Sept last year. Can I still do a Bond claim?
If you were a sub-subcontractor (i.e., not in direct privity with the general contractor), you almost certainly would have needed to give a timely Miller Act Bond Claim Notice within 90 days of your last furnishing labor or materials to the project. What constitutes proper notice is a bit of a gray area so you should consult with an experienced construction attorney with experience on federal projects.
