Am I able to enforce a lien?

CaliforniaNotice of Completion
Anonymous Subcontractor

A notice of completion was filed on a project, but we continued to provide work after the NOC date - would we still have lien rights?

Yes. A valid notice of completion shortens the period for a contractor to record a lien. But a notice of completion that is served before actual completion of the work may be premature and invalid. The service of a premature notice of completion should not cut off your lien rights for work performed after service of the notice of completion.
