Hill, Rugh, Keller & Main, P.L. is a civil practice law firm comprised solely of experienced trial attorneys. The firm has an “AV” rating by the Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating system, which signifies the highest level of professional excellence a firm can achieve. Our size allows us to give each client and case the personal attention required. We work closely with our clients and are committed to providing an early evaluation of each claim and specific recommendations on the optimal and most cost-effective plan to achieve a successful result.
At HRKM, we value ongoing relationships with our clients. It is through these relationships that we foster a team-oriented approach. Attorneys and clients work together to identify the goals of any given lawsuit and the best, most efficient way to achieve those goals.
All of our attorneys started their legal careers working at larger law firms. Armed with this experience, it is our belief that HRKM can bring a superior level of legal service to our clients, with more personal attention and at a lower cost. We listened as some clients expressed frustration with the “big firms,” claiming they never knew who was handling their case at a given time. Most of all, we listened to concerns that firms would often bill extensive fees and costs litigating a case, only to have the case settle prior to trial on terms that were not substantially different from the pre-litigation demands. It was our belief that we could offer an alternative by having a business model that is based on long-term and lasting client relationships, as opposed to making the most out of a single case.
At HRKM, we realize our job is to make our client’s life easier, not the other way around. Our clients always know who is handling their case and we regularly communicate regarding the status of their case. In addition, we make ourselves available at all times, and welcome phone calls to our cell phones at any time. Upon the assignment of a case, you can expect an early, frank evaluation of its strengths and weakness. If it is a case that should be settled, we thoroughly evaluate settlement opportunities early to avoid needless legal expenses. However, for those cases that cannot or should not be settled, all of our attorneys have extensive trial experience and enjoy being in the courtroom. Our ability to quickly recognize those cases where early settlement is a more cost-effective solution, combined with our extensive trial experience, has resulted in a high level of success in our jury trials.
Part of our “teamwork approach” deals with working on litigated cases, as well as working with our clients to assist them in answering any legal questions that might arise. We also provide seminars to our clients on issues of their choosing. These seminars are approved to provide continuing education credits to Florida adjusters. We also always welcome calls from any client who simply wants to run a case by us to get a second opinion.
Should you have any questions about our firm, please do not hesitate to call us. We would welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss your legal needs and whether our firm can be of any assistance.
