Victor R. Garcia is a Partner and managing attorney of the firm’s Commercial/Construction Claims Litigation department.
Victor has practiced in the area of commercial claims litigation and creditors’ rights for over 16 years. He deals mainly with accounts receivables, commercial loans, and contractual disputes for a variety of creditors, including lenders, finance companies, major corporations, insurance companies, contractors, and small businesses. He has extensive experience in the domestication and collection of judgments in counties throughout the State of Florida and the recovery of secured collateral through the judicial process. He currently manages the firm’s Commercial/Construction Claims Litigation department, which handles a large volume of cases forwarded from clients throughout the United States and Canada. He also handles various bankruptcy matters, representing creditors to ensure their claims are addressed in those proceedings and securing any recovery possible.
Victor is a longtime member of the Commercial Law League of America, where he has served on the Executive Council of the Young Members’ Section since 2012 and is the current Chair of the Section. He is also an inaugural affiliate member of the Commercial Collection Agencies of America.
He also serves as designated counsel for several insurance companies to include civil litigation defense in first party property, subrogation, and premises liability claims.
Victor also represents parties in residential and commercial real estate transactions and litigation. He is a title agent and member attorney of the Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund and Old Republic Title Insurance Company.
Victor attended the Saint Thomas University School of Law, where he was the Articles Editor of the Law Review and member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity.
