Robert has practiced law for more than three decades. His “BigLaw” experience includes partnership in both Leonard, Street & Deinard (now Stinson Leonard Street, ranking 121 on the 2020 Am Law 200) and Minkin & Snyder (now Greenberg Trauig, ranked 14 on the 2020 Am Law 200).
Robert is also a seasoned business executive with extensive management experience and industry knowledge in the medical device, internet media, and healthcare services sectors. While Robert served as its CEO, his last entrepreneurial venture received the Phoenix Award for Start-up of the Year from the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce; the “Best of the Best” Top 10 Innovation Award and the People’s Choice Award for Breakthrough Technology from the Technology Association of Georgia; the Impact Award for Emerging Mega Trends from the Southeastern Software Association; and the Innovation Award from the National Readmissions Prevention Collaborative. Robert received the Healthcare Heroes Award for Innovation from the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
Robert earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as Executive Editor of the Virginia Journal of International Law. After law school, he had the distinction of clerking for the Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court. Robert received an M.A. and B.A., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
