Patrick started in construction while in high school, working as a roofer during summer breaks. Eventually, he became the General Manager of a high-end landscape construction company building custom planted landscapes at resorts, large condo developments, and golf courses in the mountains of Park City, Utah. He moved on to large-scale, international infrastructure development projects building solar power grids, waste-to-energy plants, municipal improvement projects, and ocean reef reclamation efforts.
