Jonathan Robb is an experienced civil litigator with Sweeney Mason. Jon has practiced before both state and federal courts throughout California. He has also litigated matters in other states. His experience includes all phases of civil litigation, arbitration and mediation.
Recently, Jon has emphasized construction law, litigating complex multiparty delay and impact, and defect, cases throughout California. He has represented owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. He has represented a broad range of clients, including large institutions and private individuals, ranging from large multi-building complexes and high-rises to single family homes. His experience includes Home Improvement Contracts and owner-contractor payment disputes. He has also litigated and advised clients on defamation matters, real estate disputes, employment and business disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, and insurance bad faith claims, among others.
Before graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2012, Jon was the Senior Articles Editor for the Wisconsin International Law Journal. He is a published author with that Journal. He served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Charles N. Clevert, Jr., in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Prior to law school, Jon graduated with distinction from Kenyon College in Ohio where he played college football. Growing up in San Jose, he graduated from Bellarmine College Preparatory.
