Jake is a passionate and driven attorney who works to achieve the best and most practical result for his clients. He has a diverse background of education and experiences, which has translated to a diverse practice. As someone who was born and raised in Southeast Kansas, Jake understands the value of hard work and respect, and how important it is to protect the people that you care about and the things that you work for.
Prior to joining The Reynolds Law Firm, P.A., Jake worked in Wichita, KS as a Contractual Risk Advisor at IMA, Inc., one of the largest independently owned insurance brokerage firms in the country. In that role, Jake worked closely with a wide range of business clients to help them manage risks, primarily through contracts.
While in law school at Washburn, Jake gained practical work experience at the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) and Burns & McDonnell in their legal departments. Jake also served on the Washburn Student Bar Association, competed in American Bar Association law school negotiation competitions, and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity. Prior to law school, Jake obtained undergraduate and graduate degrees from Pittsburg State University (PSU) in the area of construction engineering technology. While at PSU, Jake was able to get both technical and hands-on construction experience.
In his free time, Jake enjoys running marathons and half-marathons with his wife Jennelle, who is a Pharmacist in Iola, KS. In addition to running, Jake and Jennelle enjoy traveling, hiking, board and card games, brewing craft beer, and cheering on their favorite sports teams. More...
