About Frederick Wen
Fred has over 15 years of civil litigation experience at both the trial and appellate court levels in federal and state courts in Texas and New York. He has successfully represented public agencies, officials, and employees in cases raising federal civil rights, personal injury, or employment discrimination claims under Section 1983, Title VII, and the Americans with Disabilities Act/Rehabilitation Act.
Before joining the Lopez Law Group as a Senior Associate, Fred worked for over five years as a Central Staff Attorney at the First Court of Appeals. He previously practiced for several years at the New York State Office of the Attorney General where he gained jury and bench trial and oral argument experience.
He is conversationally fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and Mandarin. When he is not working, Fred enjoys spending most of his time with his two young children, wife, and dog, playing or watching tennis, basketball, baseball, or soccer.
