About Eric Voogt
Eric J. Voogt is a shareholder with Glade Voogt Lopez Smith. He has been with the firm since January of 2003 and has served as its President for several years. His experience and expertise include complex commercial and business litigation, environmental litigation, construction litigation, insurance coverage litigation, real estate litigation, environmental regulatory compliance, conservation easements, class actions, toxic torts, water pollution, and environmental property damage cases.
Eric graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University and spent one year working as an engineer at Cessna Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas. He then went on to attend law school at the University of Kansas where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his class and served on the Kansas Law Review.
In Eric’s first year after graduation from law school, he worked as a Policy Consultant for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Washington, D.C. After his time with the EPA, Eric spent five years with Spencer Fane Britt & Browne, LLP in Kansas City, Missouri where he practiced general commercial litigation and environmental law.
In addition to his law practice, Eric is a founder of Proof Serve, LLC which connects law firms with experienced process servers through a mobile app. Proof’s technology provides real-time tracking and communication between process servers and law firms as well as electronic proof of service via geo locates.
