Brittany Ann Kreimeyer ("Brit") was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada as a typical tomboy with a love for the outdoors, guns, and muscle cars. In 2004, Brit graduated valedictorian from the College of Southern Nevada High School. Following graduation, she attended Marion Military Institute with the hopes of fulfilling her dream of becoming an F-117 Nighthawk pilot. As fate would have it, Brit was destined for another path. After a long and unconventional journey, Brit returned to Las Vegas and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree on a Millennium scholarship at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2010. She is the first in her family to graduate with her bachelor's degree.
At 16-years-old, Brit started her first job as a blueprint coordinator. After 8 years in the construction industry, she worked her way up to an assistant project manager. Following the financial recession in 2010, the construction industry collapsed. Armed with a bachelor's degree and no possible job opportunities, Brit toured the United States on the back of a motorcycle, taking temporary jobs wherever she could find them. Ten thousand miles and 30 states later, she returned to Las Vegas where she was employed full-time at MGM Grand as a concierge and part-time as a tour guide.
In 2013, she took the plunge and decided to pursue her law school dream. While attending Concordia University School of Law, Brit logged over 400 hours of pro bono at various agencies including the Federal Defender Services of Idaho, Idaho Trial Lawyers Association's Street Law Clinic, Attorneys for Civic Education, and the Idaho Military Legal Alliance. She was also an active participant in the Student Bar Association and the Diversity Section of the Idaho State Bar (student member).
Brit graduated from Concordia University School of Law in May of 2016 and passed the Idaho State Bar Exam in September 2016. Four days after the bar results were released, she started her career as an Ada County Deputy Public Defender, where she remained for three years. When the opportunity presented itself to return to her alma mater to both mentor law students and teach, she jumped at the chance. During her time full-time employment at Concordia University School of Law, Brit became highly interested in civil litigation.
Currently, Brit is the President of the Richard C. Fields American Inns of Court, and she regularly volunteers her time for the various civics programs sponsored by the Attorneys for Civic Education including We the People and Mock-Trial.
