About Connecticut Contractor Affidavit Form
Before commencement of the work, or within 15 days of commencement, the general contractor may file an Affidavit with the town clerk. The filing of this document protects the general contractor from liens filed on the project, by requiring any subcontractors or suppliers to serve upon it the Notice of Intent to Claim Lien that it must serve on the owner prior to filing a lien.
Skip the hassle of sending payment documents yourself.
