The Pike County Prothonotary’s filing requirements are as follows:

1. Any action or proceeding to strike off or open any judgment shall
be considered as commencement of a new action;

2. Any request for any service such as copies, docket entries, or the
return of any certified or time-stamped copies of any document
MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A STAMPED, SELFADDRESSED ENVELOPE LARGE ENOUGH TO
ACCOMMODATE SAME;

3. The Prothonotary shall not be required to enter or docket any suit
or action or Order of Court or enter any judgment thereon or perform
any services whatsoever for any person, political subdivision or the
Commonwealth until the requisite fee is paid.

4. Filing fees of certain Civil Actions and Judgments include a
charge of $.50 writ tax.
