We had a great experience with them and Matt knows his numbers
Paid on time great process
Fast as long as you follow contract and turn your paperwork in correctly.
Always paid on time. Willing to work through problems if you communicate well.
Holds retainage. Pays better than some other general contractors but also not the best. We have not waited more than 50 days
Pay when paid clause. Wish banks paid out sooner then they used to. Covid strikes again
Payment speed is normal. We have been hired to clean up jobs for other companies that desperately failed. The communication is there, which is about as much as you can ask for these days.
Slow pay on some jobs but do get paid. Banks have been slow on a bunch of our other jobs with the general contractors as well.
Paid our retainage on a few projects. They do go for the low bidders
Contracts side more with this general contractor. If you follow it you get paid
Started a ground up retail job in ft worth with them. They are getting awarded a lot of the finish outs. Hope we can land them all as we bid a lot with them
Holds retainage but pays better than other general contractors. We have not waited more than 50 days
Just wrapped up a grocery store with them. We are just waiting on retainage now. Been paid in full until retainage. Hopefully owner pays MSF retainage asap as they finished on time. Joe Maleski was a great PM to work with. Looking to do a few of their hotels later this year
We have worked with MSF on a few projects. We have been paid on all jobs except one which are in arbitration now so understand where they are coming from. The owners look like they are broke and cannot pay their bills as the bank funded the owner but never paid MSF.
MSF has be a great company to work for. They had to work through having an owner with temporary money issues, but bent over backwards to get everyone paid on that project. They also had to work through having a Masonry/Stucco subcontractor with mental issues, emailing the owners and other subcontractors. Very sad they had to deal with this delusional person. I hope he gets help soon.
This is Phil with Merchant Bonding Company. I was doing research on this file and it is hilarious seeing some of these disgruntled subcontractors that do not know how to read their executed contracts. In fact a few of these are from subcontractors that walked off the job because they could not finish the work leaving MSF to clean up their mess. We have been bonding MSF and their affiliate companies for years now and can attest that any liens on the project are because of bank or owner delays on funding. After doing research out of the 19 liens assessed half of them are from the subcontractor suppliers. So if the subs arent paying their suppliers why should the general contractor if owner is not paying the general contractor? Same thing goes with the prime contract. It will be interesting to see how the sub pool pans out on the next recession. Keep up the good work MSF. We are excited about the new jobs we are bonding with you later this year.
Awesome general contractor!!! Just went to a subcontractor conference with them as they have had a bad batch of subs that could not finish their jobs and MSF had to replace them to keep with the schedules on the job. They always will find replacements and take the subs to the cleaners with their attorneys. Finish your work on time and they pay you on time. Looking forward to the new jobs they have coming up this spring
Pay when paid clauses are in effect with this company. They will pay in advance if you lower contract amount. Understand that they are not a bank. Both jobs we are on are moving fast and client seems happy
Pays on time as soon as they get paid
Gc that goes the extra mile with the owners and subs. Fast and upcoming builder in Dfw
